Personal Dictionary - Visual Dictionary - English Language Personal Dictionary

This resource has really helped my students with their writing! The larger dictionaries we have in our classroom can be intimidating, having a smaller one that has some basic vocab in it helped students to learn how to use our bigger classroom dictionaries. Students now love finding new words in the classroom dictionaries to add to their personal ones! It has helped increase vocabulary and conventions. Win-Win!

Even in 5th grade we benefit from having a personal dictionary!

We just started using this resource for recording Tier 3 words. So far the students seem to be using it and referring back to it. I've been getting the students to sketch a picture of the words they are recording (we do not just use this for spelling, more for vocab building)!

This resource has been great for my grade three students!

We have always used a student dictionary, but I love that this one includes Canadian spellings, Canadian holidays, and a word bank for emotions. Thanks for another great product, 3 Peaks!
