An Introductory Booklet to teach about the First Nations in Canada.
This 8 page booklet serves as an introductory booklet to help you teach about the traditions, history, and significance of the First Nations in Canada.
Topics include:
- The history/geography of the First Nations,
- The Buffalo,
- Tipis,
- Moccasins, and
- Powwows
Most appropriate for grades 3 - 6 based on language and reading level required.
- Each page has black and white imagery that students can colour in, plus some small interactive features that students can fill in.
- The final page of the booklet is a Check Your Understanding [True or False] questionnaire that checks to see how much they learned.
