Why Use a Reading Strategies Notebook?
Rather than teaching reading comprehension strategies once and moving on, students create a valuable year-long reference tool they can use whenever they read.
Throughout the year, students can return to their notebooks to review important reading skills and strategies such as making predictions, summarizing, inferencing, analyzing text, examining story elements, understanding text structures, and much more.
