- A 'Place Value' title page for this section of your Math notebook,
- An ”I Can statement” for each outcome (aligned with the NEW Grade 4 Alberta Program of Studies) to glue at the top of your notebook page,

Each student will need:
- A notebook (either a composition book, a visual journal, or a lined notebook)
- Crayons/markers/coloured pencils

I have found that at the end of the school year, students are proud to show their notebooks to their parents, and parents are interested in seeing all the learning that has occurred in each of the Mathematics units, especially with the outcomes listed directly on the page.
